Mad Pundit Radio Brief 10/7/06

Believe the hype!

It's all true!

Mad Pundit Radio will indeed take to the airwaves once again on Saturday, the 7th day of October 2006. The pundit will be joined by his usual on-air crew- Lucky Yates, Leonard Sharing, & Wendi Grossman – and they can be heard on 640 WGST in Atlanta, Ga.

Here are a few of the items they may or may not opine on:

First of all, we're not above delving into the Mark Foley scandal. The pundit has heard an awful lot of nonsense on this topic. ABC's handling of the story was faulty to begin with, the talking points coming from the politicians is suspect, and the conspiracy theories being tossed around by bloggers from both sides has reached the level of absurdity. The pundit will be glad to let you know why the Speaker of the House should resign if you'll only tune in to hear it.

The Foley scandal wasn't the only case of child exploitation recently. The use of the Amish girls who were murdered execution-style for 24 hour News profit was the most reprehensible act of the week. The pundit has news for you- if you watched more than 5 minutes of that coverage- you're a sicko.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is being portrayed by his gubernatorial opponent as being 'anti-immigrant.' A very interesting charge since he is an immigrant himself. The pundit will go over some audio and discussion will ensue.

The Dow Jones industrial average had a record-breaking week. The pundit will be forced to admit that he really doesn't know what that means.

Plus:Anything else that captures the pundit's fancy.

Plus:A Lightning Round or two- and plenty of Hot Dogs, Balloons, and Trickery for the whole family!
